In this article I’m going to review TradingView’s Crypto Screener.

In case you are not familiar with TradingView, it is the most used charting platform by traders.

What is a Screener? Bellow is the definition of a Screener according to Investopedia.

A stock screener is a set of tools that allow investors to quickly sort through the myriad of available stocks and increasing exchange-traded funds according to the investor’s own criteria.

If you follow this link , you will be taken directly to TradingView’s crypto screener

TradingView allows you to customize the data table as you please. You can add columns, remove columns, change their order and also apply filters on the columns.

Editing the table:

By clicking on the 3 dot button on the top right side of the table, you will be able to see all columns that can be added to the table.

Bellow I’m listing some of them:

  • Average Volume (10 day)
  • Average Volume (30 day)
  • Change 1h, %
  • Change 1m, %
  • Change 4h, %
  • Change 5m, %
  • Change 15m, %
  • Change from Open %
  • Oscillators Rating
  • Relative Strength Index (14)
  • Volatility
  • 1-Month High
  • 1-Month Low
  • 3-Month High
  • 3-Month Low
  • 6-Month High
  • 6-Month Low
  • 52 Week High
  • 52 Week Low
  • All Time High
  • All Time Low
  • Average Directional Index (14)
  • Average True Range (14)
  • Average Volume (60 day)
  • Average Volume (90 day)
  • Awesome Oscillator

Filters

After going through the column list and modifying the table with the indicators you want to see, there are also some filters that you might want to apply.

Just above the 3 dot button you just used for column selection, you should have a “Filter” button.

Here are some of the options worth changing:

Descriptive Filters:

  • Exchange : This is an essential filter, you should always be looking only at what is happening at the exchange where you trade.
  • Volume : Useful for excluding coins with low volume
  • Market Cap

Technical Filters:

In this pane you can apply a value filter to any of the indicators that are also available as columns.

That is pretty much it regarding configurations.

Now you can start using the Screener to quickly identify coins that present good entry points.

Reach out if you have any question regarding this tool.
